About AHMKBS (Ahmedabad Kshatriay Bhavsar Samaj)
The settlement of Kshatriya Bhavsar Samaj in Ahmedabad, Gujarat dates back to 1948’s when a few families immigrated to Ahmedabad from Khandesh , Maharashtra State, Madhayparadesh, Vidarbh and other places of India. Most of them settled in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Young Kshatriya Bhavsar families managed to come down Ahmedabad, Gujarat to avail themselves of the opportunities in business, professional and other fields. The trend continued and many Kshatriya Bhavsar families settled in Ahmedabad properly. At the social and family gatherings these families talked about forming a community group.
Ultimately, in the year 1948 AHMKBS came in existance. The Heros of this new establishment worked HARD without seeing DAY-N-NIGHT for the betterment and development of Kshatriya Bhavsar fellow cast members. We shall be always highly obliged to these Heros (You may refer this Heroes name in HOME section, please) for giving atlest a platform to construct the building (AHMKBS).
In the year 1967, AHMKBS had ocupied the land appx. 450 sq. yard in KHOKHARA area of Ahmedabad. Since this land was not sufficient for the Mangal Karyalaya and the Hinglaj Temple, and the same also falls under the Green belt the land was kept unused till 1975-76. In the year 1977, the working committee had decide to USE the land at anyhow and accordingly 15 nos. houses and 5 shops had constructed and an income was started. The intial cost to build this shops and houses were appx. Rs. 40,000/-.
During this, the board memebrs were already in search of a good location to develope & construct the Samaj Mangal Karyalaya. After a lot efforts, finallly the search ended and the memebrs had found Plot No. 801 and Plot No. 802 (each appx. 400 sq. yards) most suitable for AHMKBS Samaj Mangal Karyalaya. But again the question arrised for the money investment. Finally the Danvir Samaj Bhushan Smt. Shantabai Fakirchandseth Bhavsar had decided and ordered to the board memebrs to GO AHED and she purchased the aforsaid land and donated to AHMKBS to construct the Samaj Mangal Karyalaya and the Hinglaj Temple. The Godlen date was 1st October, 1977.
On the day of 2nd January, 1978 the Bhumi Pujan was done for the Hinglaj Temple, and the consctuction work was complted in the year 1979. The leaders had decided to go for the Pran-Pratistha and the dates were decided from 14th May, 1979 to 18th May 1979. 4) Madap Pravesh : Vaisakh Vad 4, Tuesday, dt. 15th May, 1979.

The Key personnel of AHMKBS who have givne their best efforts to uplift the Kshatriya Bhavsars are as under :
1) Smt. Shantabai Fakirchandseth Bahvsar
Smt. Shantabai was belong to Shirpur, Maharashtra. She came to Ahmedabad and was doing business. She was very soft spoken and having religious nature. She alwasy emphasis EDUCATION of Bhavsars. She had donated lacks of rupees to the various Trusts and Bhavsar Samj across the country for the development of Kshatriya Bhavsars. Today we are seeing the BIG
BANG OF AHMKBS, is due to only Smt. Shantabai. She had donated 800 Sq. yard land to AHMKBS.
2) Shri. Motilal Maharuseth Bhavsar.
Shri. Motialalseth was belongs to Dhule, Maharashtra. During the Hingal Temple construction, he ran a lot along with his team members and collected maximum funds from Gujarat and out-side Gujarat. He traveled extensively and donated his best time only in the Samaj work. We really salute Shri. Motilalseth Mahruseth Nandode.
3) Shri. L.K.Bhavsr (Leelachand Khemchand Bhavsar).
Shri. L.K.Bhavsar was belongs to Amlner ( Eastern Khandesh), Maharashtra. He was also well know by his nick name LK. He was in Gujarat Police for more than 30 years. He started his journey with Gujarat Police as Police Sub - Inspector and reached to the most dignifying post of Deputy Police Superintendent, Gujarat Police. We are really proud for this. In the year 1977 he was retired and selected Sam work at his own interest. His motto was to DEVELOP Ahmedabd Kshatriay Bhavsar Samaj people and give them the good prosperity. He had utilize his vast resources and identities and his huge friend circle for the Samaj work. He gathered much more charity fund from his resources and the Bhavsar friends and well wishers. He was also having the ability to mange and motivate the Samaj work. The main identity of his nature was to take the spot decision. He was completely believe in strict discipline. He was Vice President and Trustee of AHMKBS in the year 1979.
The other prominent Bhavsars are Shri. Fakirchand Sakharam Bhavsar, Shri. Vishvanath Ramchandra Jungade,Shri. P.G. Karode, Shri. Kishor Navalpure etc.
At the first Annual General Meeting held in 1979, the Constitution of the Kshatriya Bhavsar Samaj was approved unanimously. A Board of Trustees and Working committee members were appointed. The first Board of Trustees and Working committee members were as follows :

Every year the Ahmedabad Kshatriya Bhavsar Samaj (AHMKBS) organizes religious and social functions such Bhandara Celebration, Hinglaj Jayanti, VAdhu-Var Parichay Sammelan, Ganteshotsav, and many more festivals and occasions; where community members and their children participate so actively. During such gatherings members are made aware of the happenings within the community such as : New Births, Engagements, Marriages, Deaths, progress of the childrens, etc.
AHMKBS is progressing so rapidly. The Objectives and Aims of the Samaj are being achieved, however we can still do much more with increased co-operation and participation by all active members of Ahmedabad Kshatirya Bhavsar Samaj, Ahmedabad.
